Website Launch! - Empowering Vitality Yorkshire

In July, Vine officially launched its first Website! I have been creating Websites and content for a long time as a hobby, and there is something very surreal about doing it as a proper business!

Fi is a passionate Life Coach (Vitality Yorkshire) and is on a mission to help individuals improve their connection and communication with themselves and their loved ones. What better way to share her goal than with an easy to navigate, beautiful Website?!

Fi has an upcoming couples retreat, and she needed a well-designed website to showcase her services, provide valuable information, and facilitate communication with potential clients.

Fi had already invested in a three-year website plan but faced challenges in designing the website herself. She was tight on time and busy with other responsibilities (as most small business owners are!)

Through a recommendation from one of my lovely family members, Fi discovered me! (Vine Digital) and I'm SO glad she did! The alignment of our styles, aesthetics, and values was evident from the start.

Fi had already paid for a three year Wix premium subscription, luckily Wix is one of my favourite website softwares. It is known for its user-friendly interface and pre-existing features and plug-ins (add on features) that aligned very well with Fi's requirements.

The website encompasses information about the upcoming retreat, a blog section for Fiona to update whenever she wishes, and contact forms for easy communication with potential clients. We also added an auto-updating Instagram feed which links to Fi's instagram, this allows all of her insta updates to show directly on her site.

A blog is the simplest, most effective way to make sure a Website is updated frequently. Why does this matter? because google LOVES updates. It is a sure fire way to make sure that google knows your website is in use, and has new content consistently. This helps to push you up the google results!

We created an earthy and grounded colour scheme, incorporating calming greens and browns. We created a theme for the website using these colours, and I chose fonts that are both clear & easy to read and matched the style of the site. The language used throughout the website also portrays Fi's brand attitude really effectively.

After receiving the content for the upcoming retreat, I decided that the information needed to be split into smaller chunks and separated over a few pages- this made sure the information was not too overwhelming for any site user. These pages link between each other creating almost a website-within-a-website!

One thing I love about the branding of Vitality Yorkshire, is the funky 'NOT ANOTHER' titles for different aspects of the business. This portrays Fi as a life coach with a twist, not another cookie cutter coach, but more than that. This brand has been implemented in multiple ways over the website, and with the more content that is added, this will only strengthen.

Understanding Fi's interest in future enhancements, the use of the Wix platform will allow for the addition of plugins and functionalities like a booking system, shop, the ability to make payments, and anything else you can imagine! This ensured the website could evolve and grow alongside Fi's business.
